We grew up in a world where we are constantly in some kind of a hurry. We always have deadlines that we need to meet and we always have to make sure we do this or that on time. We need to turn in our papers on time in school. We need to renew out ID’s and passports by a certain date. We need to show up for work at a specific time.
All of this can cause a lot of stress. One thing I find causes the most stress is the feeling that we are going to somehow be punished for not showing up on time. If you don’t turn in your paper on time, you may get kicked off college. If you don’t renew your passport on time, you may have to pay a fine. If you don’t show up for work on time, your boss may cut down your salary.
Knowing all of this, it is no surprise that we often want to manifest something instantly or we put limits on our manifestations such as, “if I don’t manifest this by next month, I am giving up”. We tend to stress ourselves out about the deadlines way too much and this can actually prolong our manifestation process. We are focused on the wrong part of the process! Yet, it is possible to manifest with a timeframe in mind.
So, how does manifesting with a deadline work? You need to forget that there is a deadline. Yes, I know. It sounds crazy. How could you forget about this certain date? You need to have this thing before then! Well, that’s not how it works.
We need to go back to the basics of manifesting process.
- Decide what you want.
- Create a scene that implies that you have already received your desire and go on a mental diet.
- Repeat it until you catch the feeling of the wish fulfilled and can successfully sustain it. Believe you have received your desire. This is living in the end.
- You already have it. Continue living in the end. There is nothing to worry about. You have created a new story. Do not go back to your old story.
You see, nowhere in this little guide does it say that you need to worry about the time. The thing with manifesting is that you need to believe that you have already received your desire. If you have already received it, how can you worry about when it’s going to come to pass or how it’s going to come pass? It’s simple – you cannot worry about these things.
Let’s take an example from our everyday lives. We all have a best friend. If you don’t see your best friend for a few days, does it mean you are not best friends anymore? I don’t think so. It just means you haven’t seem them for a while. I know I haven’t seen my best friend since last year because she moved to another country yet we are still best friends. We don’t even need to talk every day! She’s still my best friend! In other words, I don’t go about my day wondering if we are still best friends. I know she still considers me her best friend and I do not worry about it, not even for a second. I don’t need her to send me a message before Sunday just to have that confirmation that she is still my best friend. No, she is my best friend and I am her best friend. It’s been like this for almost 20 years and it will always be like that. End of the story!
If you have read Your Faith is Your Fortune by Neville Goddard, then you know that it is possible to manifest with a timeframe in mind. However, I do have to warn you that if you are a newbie to these teachings, I would recommend against setting deadlines. I would recommend training your mind to live in the end. Because that is all it takes. You need to train your mind to live in the end, to think from the end, from the wish fulfilled.
Nevertheless, here is a quote from chapter 15 of that book. If you want to test it, do so! But if you notice that it is stressing you out and you cannot live in the end, you keep “waiting” for that day to come to pass, it’s best to leave this part out of the process.
“If today were Wednesday and you decided that it would be quite possible for your desire to embody a new realization of yourself by Sunday, then Sunday becomes the point in time that you would visit.Chapter 15, Interval of Time
To make this visit, you shut out Wednesday and let in Sunday. This is accomplished by simply feeling that it is Sunday. Begin to hear the church bells; begin to feel the quietness of the day and all that Sunday means to you; actually feel that it is Sunday.
When this is accomplished, feel the joy of having received that which on Wednesday was but a desire. Feel the complete thrill of having received it, and then return to Wednesday, the point in time you left behind you.
In doing this, you created a vacuum in consciousness by moving from Wednesday to Sunday. Nature, abhorring vacuums, rushes in to fill it, thereby fashioning a mould in the likeness of that which you potentially create, namely, the joy of having realized your defined desire.
As you return to Wednesday, you will be filled with a joyful expectancy, because you have established the consciousness of that which must take place the following Sunday.
As you walk through the interval of Thursday, Friday and Saturday, nothing disturbs you regardless of conditions, because you predetermined that which you would be on the Sabbath and that remains an unalterable conviction.
Having gone before and prepared the place, you have returned to John and are now taking him with you through the interval of three days into the prepared place that he might share your joy with you, for where I AM, there ye may also be.”

Often times people get confused and consumed in the idea that their wish will not come to pass as fast as someone else’s wish has come to pass yet they had the same one. I would like to remind you that it is not necessary to concern yourself with things like this. Everything has its own appointed hour. When I say this, I am not talking about divine timing or anything outside of us deciding when we are ready to receive our desire. The appointed hour is the hour in which you completely drenched yourself in the feeling of the wish fulfilled. That is the hour when you know you have already received your desire. That is the hour when you realize that there is nothing standing between you and your desire. It is already yours.
Comparing time intervals can have a rather negative effect on you as well. There could be a person who received their desire after one day of a proper mental diet. There could be another who received their desire after a year of mental diet. What is the difference between the two? The speed at which they were able to fully accept that their wish has been fulfilled. It’s theirs. There could be a thousand different reasons as to why one received their desire before the other but we mustn’t concern ourselves with such things. We must remember that everyone is us pushed out. If somebody else could do it in such a short time, we must take it as an evidence that it is indeed possible to do it in such a short time. Remember, the world is your mirror. Yesterday you may have had a thought about how everybody’s wishes are coming true so fast and today you are reading a success story from somebody whose wish came true in a matter of hours. They are just your thoughts projected in your outside world.
So how long will it take for your wish to be fulfilled? A better question would be, how long will it take for you to accept it as done, fulfilled? I have proven this to myself many times. It never takes a long time. If I count the time from the moment I start implementing techniques, then sure, I may say it took a week or a month. But if I look back and be honest with myself, pinpoint the time when I really started feeling that my wish had already been fulfilled, it never takes long.
Therefore, do not concern yourself with what others achieved and in what time they achieved it. Only worry about yourself. And trust me, you will see it reflected in your outside world. If you believe something can be achieved in 3 days, you will start hearing success stories from people who have achieved it in 3 days. If you start thinking that it takes years, you will start hearing success stories from people who have achieved it after years of practice!
The most important thing is to believe in yourself and love yourself enough to “get lost” in your end result so much so that you completely forget your current reality!
